Okay, let's try this again!  Jennifer Morris, who is running the convention in St. Augustine, wanted me to let you know that she's offering a FREE REGISTRATION!  Here's her post, HERE'S THE LINK so you can see what the fuss is about!

Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered here today, to join two awesome things in a state of increased awesomeness.
Today, we're bringing together an author/reader mini-con, and the chance to WIN YOUR WAY IN FOR FREE!

That's right, ladies and gentlemen... starting today, you will all have 7 days to hop around from author to author, blogger to blogger, and enter at every stop to win one of 3 FREE REGISTRATIONS to Olde City, New Blood, the upcoming urban fantasy/paranormal romance mini-con in St. Augustine, FL next February.

You can check out the official website for the complete list of Featured Authors (I'll give you a hint... one of them is ME!!) and Featured Bloggers. There's also a main contest post with all the participating authors, bloggers, and dates for the contest. It's super easy. Visit each of the spotlight blog posts and author websites listed, fill out the Rafflecopter link on each one (one entry PER POST, not per day... and yes, they will be checking), and POOF, multiple entries to WIN!!

The prize is one of 3 FREE REGISTRATIONS to see me and about 49 other authors on the sunny beaches of St. Augustine, Florida, from Feb 8th-10, 2013. We're going to be doing panels, readings, meet & greets, and just generally having a fun weekend with our incredible fans!! Please keep in mind, if you win, you'll have to cover your own travel and hotel expenses, but your ticket into the party will be on Olde City, New Blood!!!

The contest runs from September 30th - October 6th, and the 3 winners will be announced on September 7th. Don't forget to click the Rafflecopter link below before you hop off to check out the rest of the contest posts!! Good Luck, everyone!! I hope to see you ALL in Florida this February!!

You leave town for three little days...

And I'm serious.  EVERYTHING goes down!  So here is a list of places I suddenly popped up on the internet yesterday, while I was seeing Chicken (my oldest daughter) off to college:

Cup of Porn -- Mary Calmes and I were talking about the Alpha Male here, and the misconceptions that some folks have about that there critter.

Reviews by Jessewave -- in two places!  The FIRST PLACE is for Mourning Heaven, and the SECOND PLACE is for Three Fates!  Hey, guys, I think they liked it!

Yam Magazine, AND Joyfully Jay each featured a DIFFERENT review of Sidecar!  (And they were both lovely:-)

And seriously, keep your eyes on this space, because I just agreed to do three guest posts in other places, which is what happens, I guess, when I'm checking my e-mail at a rest stop somewhere in the desolation of I-5 south before the Grapevine. I'll say yes to ANYTHING to shift my mind somewhere besides that view!

But see?  Big news day for Amy on the net, and I missed it!  Ah, well.  Oh, hey!  Don't forget to enter the contest for Dex over at Stumbling over Chaos!  That's out in, like five days!

Multitasking

Okay-- trying to do a couple of things with this post.  First of all, I was trying to prove to my husband that weebly hated me and that's why there wasn't a picture of Dex on the last post.  The second thing I was trying to do was to fix the cross posting on FB, so I didn't have, like SIX posts on FB.  And, the THIRD thing I was trying to do, and probably the most important, was to tell you that I've posted a blog HERE on Mary Calmes website about Dex in Blue and by doing so, prove that I've managed the fine art of linkage on the new site!

So, uhm, wow.  There you go!  Multitasking in one post!

Contest at Stumbling Over Chaos

9/19/2012

Hiya!  There's a contest over at Chris's blog, Stumbling Over Chaos for our guys, Dex and Kane!  Per usual, if we get more than 100 comments here, I offer more than one copy.  If we get to 125, I offer three!  Don't forget to check out the rest of Chris's site while you're there-- she's got some of THE coolest things!

Lookit What Mate Made me!

So, my mate, being a wonderful, incredible mate, hath maketh me a BRAND NEW WEB PAGE, and lo and behold, IT IS GOOD!

Seriously-- I got enough comments about how outdated my website was that I think he got a little self-conscious.  He put together this brand new spiffy site, with (and this is his FAVORITE PART) an apparently idiot proof entry system, which means that I can update it at any time.  Now, I don't know how this is going to work, with my blog and all.  My blog is mostly personal, funny stuff, and I always feel bad when I talk about my books there, because unless your a fan of the books, that can get pretty boring when you just sign on to listen to me ramble.  So I THINK that what I'll do is this:

Book news is going right here.  This is the link I"ll post on Twitter, this is the place I'll update on Facebook-- thereya go.  But ME news?  That's going on the blog, until they get so mixed up that my feeble little mind can't handle it.  If you guys (all, I don't know, two of you) who follow my website and my blog can think of a better system, let me know, and in the meantime, I'll try to make sure my feeds are loaded EVERYWHERE.

Now, the next time I post, it's going to be public appearances, so that should be spiffy.  And then there's going to be an entry about Dex, and where I've cross posted--ooh... I think I've got this all worked out in my teeny tiny peabrain!  And I've got to tell you, I'm EXCITED!  I've got a WEBSITE and it's IDIOT PROOF!  Someone let me know if there's some sort of cooking class that will do the same thing for me, and in the meantime?  Let's give Mate his kudos--see?  There he is, taking a well deserved rest!

Thank you, Mate!

    Amy Lane

Amy Lane has two kids in college, two gradeschoolers in soccer, two cats, and two Chi-who-whats at large. She lives in a crumbling crapmansion with most of the children and a bemused spouse. She also has too damned much yarn, a penchant for action adventure movies, and a need to know that somewhere in all the pain is a story of Wuv, Twu Wuv, which she continues to believe in to this day! She writes fantasy, urban fantasy, and m/m romance--and if you accidentally make eye contact, she'll bore you to tears with why those three genres go together. She'll also tell you that sacrifices, large and small, are worth the urge to write.

This is where she posts about her books, and about Amy's Lane, the article she writes for the RRW once a month.
