Honors of Note

12/31/2012

Picture
If you look on the news page, you'll see details about the honors I received from the PRG, but there have been other sites out there that have been kind enough to read my books and give me mention as they're wrapping up the year.

Reviews by Jessewave mentioned a couple of my books, as did Bibliophiles, Joyfully Jay, Tom Webb, Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words, The Novel Approach and Shae Connor. Thank you all-- I'm honored, for real and for serious, to be one of your best reading experiences of the year.

I'd also like to thank Top 2 Bottom Reviews, Rainbow Book Reviews, and Hearts on Fire Book Reviews for being supportive, appreciative, and above all POSITIVE places for writers to see their work through a reader's eyes.  Don't ever underestimate the power of saying, "It's not bad, just different!", even if (maybe ESPECIALLY if) it's about the words a person allows into his head!

And... I'm sure I missed someone.  If I did, and if you don't see your name and you're a little hurt, CONTACT ME!!!!  I will be HAPPY to add you to the list!  (Especially if you have a badge, because I like shiny things!!!)  I have made no secret of my squirrel brain-- If my squirrel brain has left you high and dry, give me a tug and I'll rein it back, Okay?

And seriously-- thank you everybody, for taking the time to read, for thinking about, for promoting this genre and my stories and the stories of other AMAZINGLY talented authors.  I'm grateful.

Amy

    Amy Lane

Amy Lane has two kids in college, two gradeschoolers in soccer, two cats, and two Chi-who-whats at large. She lives in a crumbling crapmansion with most of the children and a bemused spouse. She also has too damned much yarn, a penchant for action adventure movies, and a need to know that somewhere in all the pain is a story of Wuv, Twu Wuv, which she continues to believe in to this day! She writes fantasy, urban fantasy, and m/m romance--and if you accidentally make eye contact, she'll bore you to tears with why those three genres go together. She'll also tell you that sacrifices, large and small, are worth the urge to write.

This is where she posts about her books, and about Amy's Lane, the article she writes for the RRW once a month.
