I only found you a few months ago through your books at my local library & I was hooked. I've read every thing I could get my hands on, physically & electronically. Then I found your website. Thank you for accepting me. I love, love, love your talent & imagination. Shame on those Mormon brothers that couldn't see past something that couldn't hurt their students, but enrich them & let them know what they feel is ok. Even a fiction book, it was still written giving hope that there was understanding & possibilities. Being fired for something you passionately believe in, had to be heartbreaking. You helped kids coming into adulthood, giving them hope without throwing themselves off a bridge & potentially helping curb the bullying. I'm glad you're starting to teach again, even if it's taking off slowly. The administration will find out you're a gem & keep you. If my kids or grandkids ever come out to me, they'll walk into open arms & 100% support. I suspect my grandson will, but he can let me know when he's ready. I wish I would've had someone understanding when I grew up because I was homeless at 14. (I ramble too much, even on your FB page, sorry).

I can't imagine a world without your books, your worlds, your amazing characters, enthralling plots, and promised dreams. There aren't a lot of authors I have as "always buy", but you are one of those few. Thank you for enriching my life.
